Name: Selich Abelkop 1/01/1881-8/13/1925

Family: Selich was married to Emma Wolfson who died in childbirth in 1908. He later married Bertha Wilder. His children were Elsie, Percy and Goldie

Selich, a cousin of the other Abelkops buried in the cemetery, had his home in South Africa. Apparently he was looking to emigrate to North Carolina in the 1920’s and set up a clothing store. But he was unable to complete his goal. In 1925, he was visiting the area in order to investigate a potential store site around Reidsville when he took ill and died.
