Family: married to Lena Margolis

Charles Margolis had a small corner grocery in an African American neighborhood. Lena, his wife, also worked there. His cousin Howard Margolis remembers that Charles was always pleasant. He was orthodox and Howard remembers seders there that would go on to midnight.

Charles and Lena were very close and prided themselves on their ability to take care of others.. They would not go to assisted living when they got older and they died in their home on the very same day.
