Name: Lewis Cohen 11/21/1919- 9/7/1999.

Family: Wife, Pearl; and had 4 siblings, a sister Golda and 3 brothers Gene, Al, George and several children Lewis Cohen spent his life in New York City. He moved down to North Carolina in 1985 with his wife to be closer with his children.

Lewis volunteered for the army in WWII. After the army, Lewis worked in a variety of retail sales. He had a shoe store called J&J shoes in New York.

Those who knew Lewis said that he always entertained others, told jokes, and was extremely outgoing. If he walked into a room of strangers, by the time he left, there would not be a single stranger in the room.

The most important thing to Lewis was his immediate family.
