Rebecca Ornoff 3/05/1889-4/13/1981

Rebecca Shapiro Ornoff was born in Lithuania. She was married to Isaac Ornoff. They were married in Virginia around 1909 and approximately 10 years later moved to Durham, North Carolina bringing with them their five children: May Segal, Harold Ornoff, Nathan Ornoff, who died at the age of 28 in 1940, a son, Ben Ornoff, a former member of Beth El Synagogue, who died in 2007, and Sara Wagner, also a former member of Beth El Synagogue, who died in 2008.

Her granddaughter, Eileen Abramson, is a member of Beth El Synagogue.

Rebecca is buried in the Hebrew Cemetery in Durham, North Carolina.
