Morris B. Browdy

Morris B. Browdy 8/15/1893-6/13/1935

Family- Children: four children

Browdy came from Riga, Latvia. He worked in the produce business. He was a loving and generous father and husband and generated respect. He never needed to use physical discipline - when he gave a stern look toward the children, they would immediately behave.

He was involved in the synagogue and Hebrew school. To the delight of the children, he gave hay rides in his truck at the end of each Hebrew school year

He was frequently on the road buying produce for his business and was killed by a bus when he pulled off the road to fix a flat tire. The main roads were unlit at that time. The bus driver saw the lights of the car and assumed the car was still on the highway.
